This was a foggy day in late July, but so worth the time spent here. He hung out for 30 minutes or so and the whales were cruising back and forth. I felt like we had just as good a view as the tour boats...More

Easy to get to, plenty of parking and easy access to the beach or to the look-out point. A favorite of surfers you can see the daredevils brave the cold water in search of the perfect (albeit small) Oregon waves.

I’ve never come to this part of the coast without stopping at Boiler Bay. The views are always spectacular and this time we got some glimpses of whales feeding. This time there was a very knowledgeable and helpful volunteer at the site to give us...More

We watched a whale feeding very close to the cliffs we were looking out at. Lots of parking and a bathroom. Beautiful area to see!

Boiler Bay is a great place to watch the ocean pounding the rocks. We saw one whale the short tine we were there and several whale blows. It's always fun to try to spot a whale and you're high enough to see a big expanse...More

Just north of Depoe Bay, a nice turn out with a large parking area, picnic tables and restrooms. There is enough room to fit your RV. We stopped here on recommendations we might see whales. Jackpot. There was one in the bay feeding. A must...More

Nice area to stop and take in the ocean view. Family friendly. Excellent whale watching opportunity. We had several fairly close-up views of gray whales from the lookout in August.

People park all over there. As you pull in to Boiler Bay, on either side it is 180 degree viewing point. If he doesn't feel like getting out of the car, he'll still be able to see. People seat in their cars, and have lunch... More
