Nice park

Actually just asked to drive inside for pictures and found out it's a very nice park with kayak rentals and would love to return and kayak and picnic in this nice setting.

My wife and I have been to Rooster Rock's clothing optional beach several times over the past 3 years. As noted, there is a gay men's section on the eastern most part of the slough. (I've never seen inappropriate behavior.) The rest of it is mixed gender. In the late spring through the fall, you can hike across to Sand... More

This park is beautiful and has a boat ramp for boat enthusiasts. I suggest you stay at the west part of the park (especially if you have children), because the east end is a nude beach. If you are into that, then give it a try.

I grew up in the local area and spent a fair about of time in the summer at Rooster Rock, swimming and water skiing. Fun place and still nice after all these years.

Nice views and a peaceful place for a picnic. $5 to park or get in free if you are taking the free shuttle to Multnomah Falls.

We took some time during our recent trip to stop at the park here. We walked down the the river, had lunch and swam for a bit in the Columbia River. The park was clean, and at the time, not many people were there. It was a nice relaxing, "lazy morning/afternoon" thing to do before getting back on the road.

I have never seen a park with so much parking and so blah a view. We got a few pictures of the gorge from the water but there was nothing else to catch our attention.

While travelling to Multnomah Falls our family stopped at Rooster Rock SP because the Falls lot was full. A shuttle runs from this location to the Falls and we wanted to see if it would be worth it to ride it (we chose not to as the line for the shuttle was long). This park has a huge parking lot... Great Sandy beach with a lot of stuff for kids to do. 💥 Please Note the further out you go on the Sandy beach you will find more nudity and more drug activity which is why I have 4 star. Overall a very nice Park with good facilities.b

This state park is just off the interstate so it's a very convenient place to visit. There is a hiking trail in the woods, a nice beach on the river which is clothing optional, restrooms, etc. it's worth a visit especially during the summer months
