I was surprised to find I hadn't reviewed Shore Acres before since we have been visiting here many times over the years. It's our favorite spot on the coast. There is something blooming year around. There is a large wonderful display of Christmas lights in...More

magnificently kept gardens in an environment beyond compare. It is miraculously manicured. The rose garden delights the eye and the nose. If in the area, see it.

This place is just beautiful. The weather is crazy sometimes but it is a stunning place. The garden is not the best if your kids are crazy....

This is an excellent blend of a classical garden, breathtaking overlook and scenic hiking. There are tidal pools that are easily accessible. Some days you might see sea lions. There is an observation building with informative signage if the weather is rainy.

Saw the holiday lights display. So beautiful. Go during the day and see the rose garden in the spring. We make it a regular thing to get out there. It's $5 per car to get in but it's well worth it.

Come in the spring and summer for flowers, come in the winter for the lights and make sure to see the surrounding area. A garden spot with a fabulous view.

We hiked here from Sunset Bay and it was lovely. This time of year, the azaleas and rhodies were just starting to bloom. Best time is summer when the roses are in bloom but then the park is more crowded.

Not at shore acres. Either head south towards Bandon or north towards Reedsport

I have to agree with the statement above. Winter months and incoming tides are the best times for huge waves and the spray crashing on the rocks.
