Interesting to know about this forest but you need a quad to go through it! You should also have a suv to get there. Long, dusty, bumpy road! We had trouble finding all the sites around because they aren’t marked very good at all.

Actually I have not been in the forest itself, but TR does not list other local attractions - Crack in the ground - a geological fault, where you can walk in between the tall walls, and experience being...in the crack :) - Green Mountain lookout...More

We drove from Bend to see the Lost Forest and really it's not worth the trip. To make it more worthwhile I suggest going to the Park, visiting the Central Oregon Sand Dunes, and Fossil Lake all within a short drive.
