Great maker of Oregon wine in a very picturesque location on top of a hill. I believe it still requires reservations so make sure you get one before you go. Wine is stellar. Staff is friendly. It's actually an exceptional place to go in winter, as they usually have a nice fire going in the tasting room.

Soter wineries does by appointment only for a reason. So you can get that up close and personal experience without new people coming in to distract you. Wines were fabulous and you learned a vast amount about Oregon wines. Next time we're going to do the Provisional tasting where they pair their wines with foods made in their kitchen grown... More

This was one of my favorite wineries in Willamette! I am from McMinnville so my husband and I visit at least once or twice a year. We have probably visited about 15 wineries and this is at the top of my list in recommendations to friends (especially in the summer months when you can sit outside). The winery is beautiful... I've been a member for years and taken many friends over the years. The staff is friendly and accommodating, wine is amazing and the view is stunning. You will feel like you are in Tuscany. Believe me. I've been. Go for a tasting and if you can a provision and join as a member. It's worth it!

A colleague recommended a visit to Soter Vineyards and I'm happy that I took his advice! Property is beautiful and has a nice view being perched on a hill. You have to make an appointment and the cost is dependent on the kind our tasting you select. If you buy a bottle of wine or champagne of equal value, they... More

Didn't know what to expect but came highly recommended. The team at Soter did not disappoint! When you park and get out of the car, you are greeted just outside the entrance with a glass of wine. The setting was just beautiful and the "deconstructed" house is perfect for a tasting! And did I mention, the wines were delicious! Now... More

This seems to be a hidden secret in the Willamette Valley wine country! Soto Vineyards also uses the name Mineral Springs Ranch and wine tastings are by appointment only. We selected the Mineral Springs Ranch Provisions tasting which offers food pairings. Arriving about 30 minutes before our appointment, we were met at the car with a glass of wine and... More

Hands down this is the MOST educational tasting I have been to in the Willamette Valley. Ruben explained biodymanic agriculture in a way that made it easy to understand in a nice setting away from the main building. We were very impressed with their wines.

We've been wine club members at Soter for a number of years. Every time we return for a tasting with out-of-town guests or a Pick-up Party, we are treated as special guests. The venue high on a hill is spectacular. The wines are some of the very best in the Valley. This is definitely worth a visit.
