A worthwhile stop in Cannon Beach is the Icefire Glassworks. The finished products are lovely art pieces with a wide variety of choices. Watching the glassblower at work is a treat as is the opportunity to visit with him about his art and design styles....More

If you time it right, you can see glassworks in progress. The shop is small, the items are beautiful (yes, we bought a vase which they will ship home for us).

This was our first time here and we greatly enjoyed the event. People start lining up at 7:30 am for their 8:30 opening. They even serve pastries while you wait! There are lots of repeat customers and we plan to make this an annual event....More

We've seen many glass works places. This place tops our list. Looking is free. And there are many innovative pieces to view. Glassblowing happens on the extended weekends... so if that's important to you, plan accordingly. They have a small parking lot and are located...More

I could not even look at the glass sculpture after having been to the Chihuli in Seattle a few days earlier. Amateur stuff.

Glass blowers were not in house during high season. Glass arts present were over budget. The location is convenient if Cannon Beach is you primary attraction.More

Hi Jon, Thanks for your input. We are sorry you were disappointed when you visited our hot shop and art gallery. We produce our pieces Thursday through Sunday, roughly between the hours of 10:30 am to 3:00 or 3:30 pm. Perhaps on your next visit...More

This is a well established studio of blown glass art. Blown right in front of you. Many beautiful pieces to choose from. They have classes too.

Hi Dwight! We're glad you enjoyed our shop. One thing though...we don't offer classes at Icefire Glassworks, but visitors may watch the resident artists as they create.

Icefire is an amazing gallery where you can see beautiful glass art as well as artisans blowing glass right in the studio. Fun for everyone!

Just visited Icefire with my wife over the Memorial Day holiday. The glass they make there is beautiful and well made. The colors of some of the pieces were simply stunning. And some of the pieces were very technical, such as the incalmo platters and...More

One can liquidate your savings in this place. Gorgeous vases and bowls etc. There is also a line of simple jewelry available as well. Definitely worth a visit. Given the price of blown glass works elsewhere these objects are reasonable priced. Something very special can...More
