Standing as a testament to the strength of nature, this rock out in the ocean has stood the test of time. The lighthouse is amazing, makes you wonder what it would’ve been like to the that light keeper. Worth the trip to stop where you...More

Tillamook Rock Lighthouse once known as Terrible Tillie is located 1.2 miles off the Oregon Coast near Ecola State Park north of Cannon Beach. It's a non-functioning lighthouse, but it's pretty to see. Up until 1999, it was a columbarium. The storms and weather conditions...More

The Tillamook lighthouse is located about a mile off shore south of Seaside and north of Cannon Beach. There is a great viewpoint from Ecola Park on the Clatsop Loop Trail. You need to read the history of how it was built, watch the way...More

The lighthouse is unaccessable, and you need binoculars to see it or a camera with a telephoto lens (cell phone won't give you a photo worth looking at to help.

Romantic and intriguing, the long forgotten and closed lighthouse is a must see. Go to Ecola state park for a great view of it, although you can see it from a distance in Seaside.

It is an interesting history but I really wanted to see it better. However, the beach that you are viewing the lighthouse from is awesome.
