This is a hidden jewel in Cannon Beach. It's slightly off of the main drag, but easy to find. The history of Cannon Beach is very well displayed and most interesting. Gave us a great background on the local area.

If you can figure out their schedule this is worth the trip. They've done a nice job of telling the story of Cannon Beach's history.

We spent a couple of hours wandering around this wonderful museum looking at all of the historic pictures and finding out things I never knew about Cannon Beach and the Oregon Coast. If you have time, this is a great way to spend the afternoon.

Really worth seeing. They featured a lot of town history as it related to tourism development and logging industry. Of special interest to us was the wealth of first person accounts (local people) on WW II. So glad we went!

Quaint little museum tucked away on Spruce Street. They did a great job with displays considering they are a small non-profit. You must stop by if nothing more than to learn about the area and support the history center. It will only take a half...More
