Beautiful views...loved the rocks to climb on, small cave like areas to explore and small waterfalls.

Pretty little beach. Its got that misty fog, and greenish sand. With some sand dollars here and there (although I wasn't able to find a full one). Nice little gem.

Nice little beach break spot to stop. Had the beach all to myself (along with my dog) but I'm sure it would be a lot busier during high season.

We visited here while staying in Cannon Beach. It is a short 15 minute drive or so. Parking seemed plenty. There is a small waterfall on the beach with a stream running to the ocean. There is also a huge rock formation on the beach, easy to climb on to view birds and tidepools. Many huge rocks on the beach... More

Visits to Cannon Beach can be quite crowded on a warm summer day if you stay at the main beach in town. Want to get away from the crowds? Drive south toward Arch Cape and pull into Hug Point State Park. Depending on the tide, you can find yourself all alone in a alcove of cliffs on the Pacific Ocean... More

Waterfall, caves, majestic views. Very enjoyable stop off of 101!! Parking easily located by the several stairs down to beach.

Hug Point is a lovely spot for scenic vistas and picnicking. There was a couple on the beach having engagement photos taken while we were there.

What a beautiful beach with all sorts of nooks and sea caves that are accessible during low tide. The water was cold, but it sure was refreshing on tired feet. this is a great place to soak of nature and great photo ops abound!

The sandy beach is heaven but it also has caves, a waterfall, rock formations, and loads of stones to sift through. Watch the tide as it might keep you stranded if you walk down the beach and find it has crept up to the rocks at the edge. Lots of parking. Easy walk to the beach down some stairs. The... More

This state park was super fun to visit. The waterfall was flowing (early October) and was beautiful. The beach didn't have many people on it and it was fun to explore the different caves. It is free, but note that parking might be tight on busy days. There were some small tide pools that were fun to explore.
