Yea you think of The Goonies but beyond that this is a cool place! At low tide you can go all the way out to the biggest rock. Picture taking is a must!

We have walked this beach several times but this morning we were able to walk right up to this amazing rock. All sorts of birds were flapping in the sun. Beautiful.

You can't take a bad picture of the area. Absolutely amazing. Also really fun when the tide is low and you can walk out to the rock and see some sea life attached to the rocks and tide pools. Can't wait to come back.

This is one of the highlights of our annual trip, taking a picture in front of Haystack rock. We are always in complete disbelievement on the amazing size of this rock. A must see in CB.

We visited Cannon Beach for the first time in November. The beach was not crowded (before noon) and we got some great photos. Beach was very clean.

Be sure to walk directly to Haystack for a magnificent closeup view. The beach is lovely - just check the tides.

You can no longer visit the Goonies' house in Astoria. There are no trespassing signs in the driveway. I read another review that said if you ride down a side street on a bike you can somewhat see it.
