We camped here with Girl Scouts at Riverside campground. Lots of room, lots of trails. No running water no power. A great back to basics campground with no electricity 😊

Hiking along the Metolius River after a light snowfall is magical. There is a nice out and back four mile walk starting at the Camp Sherman general store. Well marked paths. Great views of the forest and Black Butte.

The river is just gorgeous! The people are friendly as can be! So relaxing and enjoyable. I had three girl friends with me and they fell in love with Camp Sherman and the Metolius River too!
