We started our drive at the California State Line at mile post 363. We drove for two days looking at different things along the coast, watching whales, seeing rock formations, light houses, shopping in little towns. So much to see and do. The drive goes...More

Just north of Brookings along the ocean there are many turn ind to this park area! One thing we did notice is that they were surprisedly Big Rig friendly with 50 amp full service that you seldom see. Great views - many places where you...More

We drove all the way down the Oregon Coast during our family vacation in July. Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor is a stretch of 101 with several marked pullouts to stop and see the views. With a little research, you can see if there...More

Boardman state park is not on state park but a string of parks and wayside rests that covers most of the 30 miles of undeveloped coast between Brookings, Oregon and Gold Beach Oregon. Plenty of free camping opportunities and always spectacular scenery no matter what...More

This park is a beautifully maintained treasure. Wonderful hiking trails, stupendous beaches, beautiful forests, and perfect picnic areas. A natural wonder, not to be missed.

Some of the most beautiful coastline you will ever visit. When you come bring you're camera as you will be taking lots of pictures and will want to share those with your friends and family.

A few of the sights required hiking a distance which was the only disappointment. Several picturesque points of view.

We were on a coastal road trip and this area is on my top three memorable stops. The entire drive was just so pleasant with trees, light fog, cliffs, and just natural surreal views. We were able to get out and stretch a bit which...More

Although the entire oregon coast takes your breath away, this lovely place is a gem. Fabulous views and hiking, beautifully maintained. Our dogs say it's their favorite!

It is basically a long stretch of road where you get the chance to drive along the coast and stop at all of these beautiful sights. We got to do a little bit of hiking too! It was very beautiful although after like 5 stops...More

This is a tough one. Rudy F has provided good suggestions, but I am torn if you plan on heading north along the Oregon coast since there are quite a few places that are worth experiencing. So what I am thinking choose... More

In our experience, most pullouts are big enough for a motorhome but the addition of a tow car would make it problematic, if not impossible. Some of the parking areas for lookouts, etc. should be able to accommodate a... More

I'd have to agree with the others. If you can go further north, you might consider Oswald West or Ecola State Parks -they're both between Manzanita and Cannon Beach. Ecola has several beaches within the park and... More
