This area of the West Coast is a must see. Many campsites and motels and hotels for all budgets. Same for food.

When driving on 101 about 2-3 miles north of Brookings, OR, there is a turn-off for Arch Rock. It overlooks the ocean and there are bathrooms. It is a small hike down to visualize Arch Rock and the view is awesome! Hike is easy-

This is a series of turnouts and state parks along the Oregon coast. We stopped at several and was surprised every time with some new amazing sight. Several hikes and picnic areas. Some had restrooms. But all were beautiful!

This sprawling park is just excellent, but what would one expect of the Oregon Coast. Beautiful scenery, numerous hiking opportunities through the rain forest, secluded beaches .... what's not to love?!

Sam Boardman is not one single place or spot, but a group of stops along the south coast. and every stop has its own special offerings, from views to special coastal landscapes.

In our experience, most pullouts are big enough for a motorhome but the addition of a tow car would make it problematic, if not impossible. Some of the parking areas for lookouts, etc. should be able to accommodate a... More

I'd have to agree with the others. If you can go further north, you might consider Oswald West or Ecola State Parks -they're both between Manzanita and Cannon Beach. Ecola has several beaches within the park and... More

How do we find Secret Beach and Emerald Bay? They are unmarked and we spend a day unsuccessfully trying to find tehm or the trails. Locals also couldn`d direct us

Secret beach is a tricky one. You have to go at a very low tide (- tide) to get there. If you have a guide to the coastal trail you will take the hike to THUNDER COVE. It is a beautiful trail through forest and drops down... More
