It's a lovely little beach, and we spent a very long time just listening to the waves and walking the sandy beach.

Lone Ranch is one of our favorites...close to town (Brookings), tables with good views of the waves, especially good rock and driftwood finds, generally soft sand for barefoot strolls, and "tadah"...restrooms!

Beautiful, as all of Oregon Coast is. Unless you are in very good shape, it is dangerous getting down to the beach. So many logs, large driftwood block access. Also, rocks are an obstacle to maneuver over.

I loved the time I spent here , great place for family's . Some epic views. Only 3 or 4 cars in the parking lot and the State maintained everything with a high standard.

A beautiful and expansive beach. Past the tall rocks at the south end of the beach there is another section of coastline that is more rocky and has more driftwood piled up. If you keep walking past the tall rocks and look towards another rock...More

No camping at Lone Ranch, but there is at Harris Beach a few miles to the South.
