I was so looking forward to going to this hotspring based on everyone's review, and the cool awesome youtube videos, but I was so disappointed by how small and crowded it was. I couldn't stay more than 10 mins, because I simply couldn't find a place...More

The hot springs recently opened after a road had to be repaired. Now it’s closed again, unfortunately, because of forest fire. Check with ranger station at McKenzie Bridge before you drive up for a visit. I’m still giving it 5 stars.

really is a nice hot spring. the multiple pools make for a very good selection in water temp(we think pool 3 is perfect, deep and not too hot). the hike is not too long or steep. The downsides are that it is very popular and...More

This was an absolutely beautiful place, and one of the highlights of my trip to Oregon (CA native.) My only tip is to try and visit on a weekday or when the weather is colder/more overcast. We went on a Friday afternoon in April and...More

Check the Eugene Register-Guard newspaper (online) 2/12/18 for a story on the specifics, but you can't get to the hot springs right now.A rock slide is blocking the road from Hwy 126. It might be possible at some point to get there from the other...More

I believe now it is $3 a day to be there and it is sun up to sun down. I have not been there in a while, but it always is a nice feature to see in Oregon.

This hot spring is commonly very busy. It is wise to try and go early in the day to ensure you get a parking spot!

Spent several hours here soaking after a week of hiking through Washington and Oregon. Easy short hike to 5 pools. There is also a cold stream that runs along side of it. Many people use the bucket and dump cold water over themselves after soaking...More

Hi Taylor! Yes, Terwilliger Hot Springs is clothing optional. There is a small covered area where people keep their clothing and other belongings. We love these hot springs but should add that they are closed due to a... More
