This was an amazing educational and historical story on making beer and the beginnings of Bend being Beer Capital of the USA. Kaden our guide was brilliant and shared the story of making beer and the history of the Deschutes Brewery incredibly interesting. Thank you from our UK family for a wonderful tour and afternoon.

During my spring break trip to Bend Oregon with my friends, we visited the Deschutes Brewery. At the Brewery, we took a tour and learned about the history of Deschutes beer. It was very fascinating and a cool experience. I knew a little bit about how beer is made before going on the tour, but learning more about the process has definitely helped me get a better understanding of beer and what beers are good and which to stay away from. If you do choose to go on a tour and are 21+ you get to try one of the beer’s for free and samples throughout the tour. If you’re looking for some history fun in Bend, like beer, and are traveling this would be a fun experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, very informative. My second tour, I really enjoyed getting a beer of choice prior to the tour, nice change from the first tour we took. Tour guide was excellent.
