Easy hike

This is a short, easy hike. In the morning, the reflection of the trees off the lake is beautiful. Some of the trails were ankle deep in mud/water so wear appropriate shoes.

Todd lake is one of many lakes along the hgwy when you are visiting Mt Bachelor. This one particular is cobalt blue and has a nice view of the mountain. Great place to bring your dog.

If you are looking for a nice family hike, Todd Lake is for you. It's an easy walk around the lake. Beautiful spots here and there to stop and enjoy the water. There is a bathroom before you get to the lake.

This is our first trip to Oregon and Todd Lake is what Oregon is about. Beautiful clear skies, clear lake surrounded by beautiful pine forest. Spent some time in the evening here and it is wonderful to sit quietly in the forest on a bed of pine needles looking at the stars through the trees.

The local park ranger recommended this as a must stop on our drive. We were delighted at the beautiful alpine meadow, easy trail through forests and beautiful views. Highly recommend visiting and hiking!

This lake is beautiful. You have to hike about a half mile to get to it from the parking lot and some areas can be swampy. A great place to swim on a hot day near the water with grass and streams with a mountain view.

This is a family staple .... once the snow clears the hike around the lake is easy and delightful. The far end is a valley, sometimes muddy, also a frog haven which is sheer bliss for the kids. Great views, close to Bend. Parking can be a challenge, but once you leave the parking lot the number of peeps greatly... More

Take an easy, but slightly dusty walk to a secluded little lake. In late July/early August you can see scads of tadpoles in various stages of development and enjoy beautiful views of meadows, wild flowers, woods, and mountain peaks. The crowded parking lot makes it seem as though there must be wall to wall people out there, but there is... More

Easy to get to right off the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. Short walk from parking lot to lake. Quiet, peaceful.

You have to see this place to believe it! Take the time when you visit Bend, OR to check this lake out. We did the hike and were so taken by the beauty of it all. I snapped a few photos, but they don't do it justice. We were there at the end of June and as you can see... More
