Excellent views from the ocean. I think it pays to stop, and take a look, specially on a sunny day..

Cool old lighthouse in a beautiful setting. It's closed until May of 2017, but you can still walk around it, and simply stroll down the jetty (though watch out for debris) and marvel at the awesomeness of the Pacific Ocean. If you're lucky, you might even be able to see some seals playing in the surf. Also, it's dog friendly,... More

Have been here in summer and fall, opened for viewing during summer months- not in November. What a lovely place. The beach is smashing (literally) to the north and the inlet runs into the river to the south of the building. This is decommissioned but held in esteem. This light house doesn't seem to enjoy as much upkeep as some... More

I don't want to give it a negative review, but as an FYI when I went here mid-November 2016, there was sadly a sign in the door that said it was closed until mid-May of next year. Still great beach places on the same day at to the lighthouse!

This lighthouse is small, but easy to access. We took some great photographs of it in the afternoon light. Worth the time to go see it.

We love to walk out to this lighthouse, especially in the early evening to watch the sunset and the waves. This lighthouse has very interesting history, it is too bad it isn't a working lighthouse anymore.

The Oregon coast has a number of lighthouses that are famous because of their place on the uniquely beautiful Pacific coast. Many of the light houses are well known because their images are seen in calendars, TV and print ads. This lighthouse at Bandon is notable because it has a unique look with the short light tower. It sits opposite... More

We spent one day visiting the lighthouse and walking down the old pier. Plus a very beautiful beach is right next to it

I don't know why I like this lighthouse but it is totally different than the others. Maybe it is the short walk to it!! Just a little ways from the parking lot. It is not in use but love the design and color. Great place to walk the beach that is right there.
