A great way to mourn the old olympic swimming pool!

The museum offers a great way to kill a few hours and learn about the area. A guided tour is a great idea for those who desire a more animated interpretation of time.

We easily spent 2 hours just wandering through a large variety of exhibits. Exhibits included an Airstream exhibit, Chinese influence, huge rock/mineral collection, plus lots more.

This place is fun and artifact full, a nice change from museums that think video replaces the real thing.

Medal of Honor recipient John Noble Holcomb is remembered with a beautiful display. Do you need another reason?

Brilliant; We came to Baker City for the fall colours tour on the Sumpter Valley RR. We stayed at the Geiser Grande Hotel and after checkout we happed upon the Baker Heritage Museum. I'm so o glad we stopped. This display of history is a testament to the origins of Baker City and the pioneers of the late 19th Century... More

One of the best exhibits for a small town historical museum. They cover all walks of life and culture in the 1850's. This is a must see if you are a history buff. One of the best gem exhibits around.

Worth a visit, lots of memorabilia from residents of Baker City that cover the area's industries and activities, the people who served in several wars, the people who made contributions to the city. Very knowledgeable staff and a fascinating glimpse at the history of the place.

What a wonderful museum. There is something for everyone. Allow plenty of time, we only had an hour due to a reservation we had to keep in another town. We could have easily spent another hour or more. The fact that Baker City was given funds by Leo Adler to do so many things for their community, and they invested... More

Give it an hour. Learn about Baker City history. Find Elaine and ask her about the Rock Collection. It's pretty cool

Worth your time visiting. While there make sore to get tickets to tour the Adler Home. You can easily spend an hour+ on the home tour and an hour or two in the museum.
