Hubby and I went to see Bush here and the concert was awesome. The theater is old and very interesting to look at inside. We purchased tickets in the seated area, first section of the D seated area. We were pretty close to the stage and ended up standing during the concert. Sound was awesome, we had no trouble seeing the band and stage, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Drink prices were standard. The balcony was closed during this show but it would be neat to go another time and get balcony seats.

We went to see the Fleetwood Mac tribute band and they did an outstanding job. This was my first time in the theatre and the only upgrade I would make next time is to not sit in section A or E- both have a speaker (from the ceiling) that partially blocks your view. Choose section B, C or D

I've been to the Brady Theater twice this year. Once for a concert, and the other time for a comedy show. I also have tickets for another concert in November. The Brady Theater hosts some of the best musical acts in Oklahoma. The sound quality for the concert I attended was excellent, and I appreciated the wonderful vintage atmosphere of the place.
However, I can't give a positive review for a couple of reasons.
1) Parking is absolutely terrible. You'll just have to cross your fingers and hope you can find street side parking within a decent walking distance. I am not very familiar with the area, so if there were better parking options available, they weren't clearly marked. I ended up having to walk quite a distance in the rain for one of the shows.
2) The second reason I can't personally give a positive review is that the seats are the smallest I've ever seen (I'm talking REALLY small), and are extremely uncomfortable for larger or taller people. I know that most average sized people won't have any trouble, but if you are a person of size, you'll likely not fit into the seats. I'm a bigger person - not huge - and the seats were entirely too snug for me. Sadly, I witnessed another larger couple sitting in front of me for the comedy show who were not even able to fit into their seats. After trying for several minutes and realizing it just wasn't going to work, they both had to stand in the back of the theater for the entire event. A taller guy was sitting next to me at the other show, and his knees were completely buried into the seat in front of him, so much so that he had to sit at a very unnatural angle. I felt very sorry for him.
So, if you're average to smaller sized, and have good luck with parking, I would give the venue a 4 star review, and would suggest you visit without hesitation. But for me personally, after the November show I'm attending, I won't visit the Brady again unless they do a major remodel and add larger seats because they just can't comfortably accommodate me. I'll stick with Cain's. If you're a person of size, I would also recommend that you choose another venue.

The Brady Theatre was the venue for Peppa Pig's Big Splash and the nephew and I went to this event. Small and intimate settings and just right for this type of event. It didn't feel so large so that no one could see what was going on. I did not like the fact that it sold beer to adults in a kid-friendly event but no one was rowdy. Parking was nearby for $10 and there seemed to be alot. We got there early so we were one of the first to park. The lobby gets very crowded when people are all in there trying to get at the concessions, check in for VIP party pass and buy merchandise while others were trying to get to their seat. Extra seating had been brought in to go in front of the permanent seats. We sat in the temporary seating but the seats were comfortable. Security was on hand so we did not have any problems. Great place to see something without feeling lost.

We went to a concert here and loved it. Yes, it's old and not fancy. But it is an intimate venue and I can't imagine a bad seat in the place. Acoustics were good. We had a great time and will definitely go back. Lots of restaurants nearby for before or after the show.

First time visit for Chris Young concert. We parked a couple blocks from the facility (for free) and walked. This is in the 'arts' district, and even though there were a good deal of people out on a friday evening, it seemed safe enough.
Approached the facility, there was one entrance (we saw) which were letting people in. Had the metal detector wands, which were going off with frequency, but people were passed on through. However we did see several groups of people LEAVING, so not sure what was going on.
When you get in the door BAM, people galore. It is a VERY SMALL foyer which houses the 'bar', along with the artist merchandise, and it appeared to be one big line. Couldn't tell who was doing what. We fought our way through to find our seats.
We did get balcony seating in section G, row J, just off the stage. They have ushers to help people find their seats, and direct you to the facilities. Had a good view of everything except the drummer. The seating is 'odd', as some of the seats in a row will be cushioned, while others are wooden. Don't think there is really a good way to determine what you get, till you get it. I believe the more expensive seats in the balcony ARE a better cushion, while the floor seats also appear to be padded.
Alcohol is served, reasonably priced for beer at least, $4/cup, bottled water is $3 (save water, drink beer!).. They also serve liquor, but unsure of price. They have chips & candy available as well.
RESTROOMS - women have one upstairs and one downstairs. GUYS - you get ONE downstairs, and it contains.... 'tubs', along with a couple stalls.
Overall it was a good experience, the smaller venues as this (to me) offer a more intimate show, and I believe all the seats are actually a good view (MUCH better than say the BOK center where the nosebleed seats you really could use binoculars). The only downside to the balcony seats was NO lighting and dark carpet, so if you go up or down during the performance, unless you use a phone to light your way, you risk a fall.
Would return to the venue for another show.

I went to a concert here and it was easy to get in and out of before and after the event unlike some places that are so enormous it takes forever just to leave. The sound was outstanding. I would definitely return.

This was not our first time attending a concert at the Brady theater but it's the first time I've written a review about it. We attended 104.5 The Edge, Christmas Concert. There was a total of 4 bands and Bush was the headliner. The acoustics of the theater are top notch. As usual, we sat in the upper reserved seating. One of our nieces had general admission floor seating. If you want to be on the floor and in the first few rows, then plan to arrive an hour before they open the doors. If you're in reserved seating, it's not necessary to arrive early. There really is not a bad seat in the house. No matter where you sit or stand, you will see and hear a good concert. Both the upper and lower levels have a bar and restrooms. Parking is $5 and a few blocks away. We didn't see any available parking anywhere closer-for any price. In years past, parking right across the street was available for $10. We had a great time and will definitely return to the Brady Theater.

Old probably historic theater located in downtown Tulsa. Quaint shops and restaurants are all round with adequate parking. Bathrooms were old but at least they had enough stalls in the women's section.
Disliked the first 10-15 rows which were folding connecting chairs set up but the rows were so close, we could hardly stand up without falling into the row ahead of us. Literally the space was just enough for our knees to touch the row in front of us. No way could anyone get by us to get to their seat, they would have to crawl over us. Not sure why they put these rows so close together. The show was not sold out and there were lots of seats in the balcony but apparently they tried to squeeze as many rows as possible in the front center section which looked to be an open area for maybe an orchestra. The rest of the theater was regular cushioned chairs that are anchored to the floor. The first row was so close to the stage, they could use the stage to hold their drinks. Some poor people were literally sitting in front of the speakers and not sure how their view of the stage was.

The "old lady" Brady theater is a great place for a concert. The crowds are appreciative, the atmosphere is intimate, but most of all the sound is excellent! Oh, and the people watching is pretty fun, too. Very walkable area of town.

Depends on what you’re seeing, but the Brady has great acoustics. Yes, it’s a little old school in terms of the seats, but still a great venue. On the floor towards the back there are some pillars, so there’s the possibility of an obstructed view. So pay attention for that. Otherwise, it’s probably personal preference and/or a question of price.

It was built in 1914, remodeled in 1930 and 1952. It was used as a detention center during the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot. All are before my time. I was born in 1953. For more info, look on Wikipedia.

cost and availability of parking, is there taxi service to downtown hotels
Written 16 March 2015
Parking was a couple of blocks to the northeast of the theater. Cost was $5 or $10. If you're staying at a downlown hotel, just take a taxi. The hotel might even have a shuttle.
