This is a huge recreational area, similar to Griffith Park in L.A., where you have wild areas, picnic areas, golf, zoo, etc. all in one area covering several square miles. It's a nice place to hike and see birds and animals. This is a marsh...More

The nature center building itself is great with knowledgeable and friendly staff. All of the trails are absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We intend to come here more often.

The nature itself is fairly small, but the trials are extensive and really nice if you want some time in nature.

The trails are scenic...the birds and wildlife are prevalent and it's usually quiet. A really nice place to escape the stresses of the city.

The visitor center had great educational displays. I go for the nature trails. They wander through forest and near water. I see many birds and often other animals. If you like native plants, they are here too.

This is a great little hidden secret of Mohawk Park. There are multiple hiking trails. Suitable for all ages. You can do a 1/2 mile hike with small children or like my husband and I, we hiked for a couple of hours (probably 3-4 miles)....More

A great place to walk with nature. Both trees, animals, birds. Grey squirrels, cottontail rabbits. You name it, it is life in relative tranquility.

We are frequent visitors and see something different every time -- this time it was snake day! Also saw Canadian geese with six babies, trumpeter swan, deer (usually on Woodpecker Trail). It helps to be quiet, pause and be observant.
