Nice little stop

Not a lot to do but good for a 30 minute time killer. Kids thought it was cool how the acoustics/ echo worked. Best part is it's free.

We are to fly to Houston via Tulsa and drove earlier there just to look around. We chanced a little tip on this place and decided ro go see it without knowledge of what to do or expect just going. There were group of people there and when it was our chance to step on the center we were told... More

Was interesting to say the least. Although unlike the legend people can hear you outside the circle. So you can't tell your secrets to the universe.

It's tough to know why this particular spot earned the name "Sonic Center of the Universe." That sounds a little pretentious. But no matter what you call it, you should visit it if you happen to be in downtown Tulsa. Park on Archer St. (meters available) and cross the overpass bridge that runs above the railroad tracks. In fact, the... More

My husband and I were looking for things to do in Tulsa for our honeymoon. I ran across this unique experience. Cannot explain how the whole concept works, but it a must try. You stand in the circle and speak. Everyone outside the circle can hear your normal voice but you hear a slight echo like you are speaking into... More

Had to stop by after reading reviews from TripAdvisor; it's right where they say and it is really a cool experience. But after a few words or yell..... it really is just a quick stop.

Okay, perhaps I'm being a tad harsh but if it wasn't for the "cloud" I doubt you'd stop at the "centre of the universe". I think a re-naming is called for because with a name like that you expect so much more. At least looking for it took us to the Jazz museum nearby which was worth a quick peek... More

It was very windy, but during the lulls, we could really hear why we were there. I wish there was an explanation that was close by and easy to find.

People will not understand until they go and experience first hand. This unique spot of earth located in downtown Tulsa is neat to have. One will hear themselves and believe they are in the center of the universe. This site is unusual and exciting but not risky to visit so ignore any notes below that mention it.
