We went to see ORU as we were in Tulsa and it was worth it. Its a Christian University campus and amazing to see how one man had a dream and built it.

Yes, this is a university campus, and there are several unique structures, which deserve a close exploration. What is of value is the stories that are part of this place. Visit the Prayer Tower. You will find a certificate which was presented to Oral Roberts...More

Before heading to Tulsa, one of my friends said that we should check out Oral Roberts because of its unique architecture so we made a stop. When asking questions to student staff members, they were short with us and not helpful. Not a great beginning....More

I would not make a special trip to ORU just to see it...but if you are driving by it is worth seeing. Of course, I have been at several events here so maybe I am just too used to it.

A garrish, ugly statue of hands (be more appropriate if it was filled with the millions he duped folks out of), set in the midst of some of the most butt-ugly college buildings every constructed. Not worth the time, effort or energy to visit. Unless...More

The Avenue of Flags representing Nation Flags from countries with student at the school leads up to the Praying Hands sculpture, one of the largest bronze statues ever made which marks the main entrance to the University. The buildings at ORU have a unique architectural...More

I guess there is an observation tower here? So check that out if you had time. I didn't know this, and didn't have time anyways, but I bet the view would be crazy!
