We are from Tulsa , but haven’t been to the zoo since our son was younger - he is a father now so we went recently and took our 3 year old grandson. We got there as soon as it opened before the crowds arrived...More

We attended Tulsa Zoo over Memorial Day weekend and loved every minute we were there! Very affordable for families on a budget. Park was not packed with people. Food is sub par...that is something I hope they try to improve soon.

The Zoo won't be the best you've ever been to, but for a city the size of Tulsa it is a very acceptable zoo. Several new habitats have been built over the last decade. It's great for locals and surrounding areas to visit. If you're...More

We love this zoo and go several times a year. The newest additions really make the zoo much better. There are tons of things to explore. Our entire family has fun when we go. Make sure you go when it's not 100 degrees outside!

The greatest zoo I've ever been to! The zoo is large and full of animals, is newly upgraded/renovated, and has a lot of amenities and such in the park. I must-see if you're in Tulsa!

The Zoo is always a good choice for an activity for families with kids. Tulsa Zoo is okay, but there is an admission charge and concessions (food, drinks, train rides, etc.) are on the expensive side. And the warm (okay, HOT) Oklahoma summer days can...More

We thoroughly enjoyed this zoo. We showed up Sunday right when it opened and that was perfect to enjoy it with minimal people around and nice weather. The zoo is just big enough to last 2 hours to see everything at a nice pace with...More

If it’s hot, don’t go because you won’t see any animals. This zoo has the potential to be really good and they supposedly have a good variety of animals. However, even though we went early in the day, it was hot and humid and the...More

In my opinion it was too expensive. The entry fee was not that bad. $32 for 2 adults and 1 child. Once inside was $$$. $6 train ride one way! Seems like everything a child wants to do cost extra. Carousel, camel ride. We really...More

White River Fish Market is within 3 miles of the zoo on Sheridan Road. Other than that you probably need to go about 7 miles north to Owasso which has many of the chain family restaurants. If you go south on Memorial to... More
