I grew up in Tulsa and have been to the zoo many times. It was not until visiting other zoos that I realized how nice ours was. They are always improving old exhibits or adding new ones. The grounds are clean, and there is a good variety of animals and learning experiences.

Our family, 5 adults and 4 kids, had a great time. Big cats are amazing as well as many other African animals

Zoo's are getting a lot of bad press for their treatment and housing of animals. The Tulsa Zoo is doing very little to deter those who believe that zoo's are not a good place for animals. The habitats are not very "animal friendly" in my opinion. I am sure it is from a lack of funding, however, the exhibits lack... More

Many good, interesting and unusual exhibits. Seems better maintained than in previous years. New exhibits under construction should make it even better when completed.

We have been to some great zoos, but this one would rate in the top 4-5, I'm sure...even with the construction going on to enlarge and provide better viewing of the animals. We can hardly wait to go back this coming spring, when the construction is complete. Our 7 year-old grandson LOVED it!!!

More being built. But we enjoyed our visit. Look out for the playful snow leopards. The mommy chimps were acting up as they were missing their kids indoors, what a show they produced.

We really enjoy the Tulsa Zoo. There is a major construction project going on right now (and looks like it could be for quite a while) but it's still great. We went early on New Year's Eve and there was very few people there until around noon. It was chilly but the most all the animals were active. We've been... More

After holiday visit with family $10 admission reasonable. Zoo is in transition with major construction. Path around Zoo is well laid out. Able to see most exhibits. Buildings do close at 4:30, so make sure to arrive early in order to see all exhibits before they take animals inside for the night. Big highlight was watching a keeper "herd" the... More

We've been going to the Tulsa zoo for years whenever we vacation in the area. This zoo is great and is constantly adding new animals and attractions. Our kids love riding on the train around the zoo, that also makes it easier for older family members to get around. Highly recommended if you're in the area, especially if you are... More
