The OHC has a wonderful collection of Oklahoma memorabilia as well as Native American art and artifacts. Located just across the stree from the state capital, if you're in OKC with an hour or two to spare, make a point to visit this venue

Decent museum. Native American section still has a bit of skew towards the majority white populations. Crashed the helicopter simulator several times.

Just visited the History Center for some family research. There is so much material available that it is hard to focus on what to reference first. Before you get there, you should have a concrete plan on what you're going to do

The exhibits are so interesting and I learned so much about Oklahoma history. I loved so many of the exhibits that it is hard to pick a favorite. Definitely worth the drive to visit!
