I went to the Capitol to visit with my representative. There were several different groups there for different reasons. There is some work being done but it Usa beautiful building.

Took the tour and learned of the many notables in Oklahoma history. Also, thoroughly enjoyed the art displayed throughout the building and some of the art is permanent with many exhibits rotating. The dome was not there until 2002 and now they are totally renovating...More

We were impressed with the oil well on the grounds of the state capitol. Perhaps we will be able to make another visit and tour the inside and grounds more thoroughly.

One of the most imposing state capitals in the US. This is a big beautiful massive pile of stone. Beautiful grounds and statuary.

The place is so beautiful in the inside. Full of native american art, statues and amazing paintings. Breathtaking views. Although the parking area is a little bit confusing, the driving was well worth it.

We went there today and the building was closed. But if I want to compare it with Texas Capitol(from outside), this one will get three star.
