Regardless of your political affiliation or beliefs in government at all, it can't be denied that this is a beautiful building and grounds.

It is an old musty, old smoke smelling building full of obnoxious legislators. And to get into the building you have to go through a big security check. If you go, be sure to empty your pockets before going into the entrance.

There is parking to the south of the capitol and to the east. From the east side there is a tunnel you can us.

The guided tour lasted about an hour. We were there about two hours, total.
