This is a good place to take the kids or go for a run. The area is a little on the sketchy side of town so I wouldn't be out there too late.

Lake Overholser Park is a great place for the family with several activities for everyone. Friendly people and always willing to help make your day as fun as possible.

Clean kid's area with all the playground equipment, walking trail surrounding duck pond & view of the lake. Nice Pavillion area with restrooms but locked gate prevents entry. (I believe it has to be rented in advance?) There is a route 66 walking exhibit that...More

Not really. It is a city reservoir. Either preserve land or private property. There are probably koa campgrounds. Check in travelok
