My experience with zoos is limited to OKC, Tulsa, the Desert Museum, and San Diego Wild Animal Park. While much smaller than San Diego, our animals have some great areas. The zoo keepers interact with them and it appears that the animals are not stressed or bored. I've been many times, and never know what we'll see or which animals... More

We went during spring break way too many people. The zoo did not have very good markings/signs and it took a lot of walking to find everything and didn't really see that many animals

The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are always building something new. The train is a huge hit with my son because it takes you inside an exhibit. The little extras that allow you to interact with some of the animals, like feeding the giraffes or the lorikeets, are worth the few extra dollars.

Very good value for the price. The Zoo is quite large and has a variety of animals. The enclosures are nice and give the animals plenty of space to move. Many of the more popular animals also have an area where you can view them from inside a building/under an overhang (nice way to get out of the sun for... More

It had so many unique features... from bird sanctuaries, to reptile and amphibian exhibits to s sting ray tank... to sea creatures, a huge elephant exhibit, gorillas and lions and bears oh my! Even if all the animals are not out when you go there they have plenty of beautiful bronze sculptures... More

I love this zoo we go pretty often and I enjoy it every time. I really like the Oklahoma exhibits the most children will love it! Buy your season pass at Mathis brothers it's cheaper and buy the mug thing when you get there and keep it for cheap refills trip after trip

Our granddaughter loves the place. She is especially fascinated with the lions, tigers and other cats.

After many trips to OKC we finally made our way to the zoo. It was much larger that we had anticipated and took quite a while to see everything. The layout can have you going in different directions, make sure you grab a map and you'll still have to follow the signs. Animals looked healthy and well taken care of,... More
