This zoo is amazing. Almost all of the animals are out all the time. They just had a birth of an elephant here too. Opportunities to feed the giraffes as well. (cost involved) They are opening a whole new section of the zoo this month.
The Oklahoma City Zoo is a very well maintained, modern zoo. In the past several months they have been working on building a new habitat area. They have a good variety of animals, and the habitat layout makes it easy to see them.
My kids (ages 7 & 8) and I visited the Oklahoma City Zoo and were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it is. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The animals are well cared for and have nice living spaces....that made me very happy...More

No, the only discounts they have, except for groups, is for seniors and veterans. The Vet discount is only for one person, not the family. I do not even find a firefighter discount at the Firefighter Museum across the street which seems a little surprising. Like any zoo, they always have funding issues.
