The Coleman Theater may be the best almost kept secret in Oklahoma. What an absolutely breathtaking step back into a world gone by. The decor (much of which is original) is stunning. The organ (recordings of which are played on the tour) is the most...More

If the number of photos you take at a site is a good measure of its appeal, the Coleman Theater is a dandy. Few of the stops during our ten-day exploration of Oklahoma’s Route 66 icons yielded a greater number of interesting photos of a...More

The Coleman Theater has been a theater since 1929 and it's a real surprise to see this grand Art Deco building in tiny Miami, Oklahoma. If your traveling Route 66, you need to stop and at least marvel at the architecture if you don't have...More

Always makes me wish for a temporary time machine to go there to experience the theater during its prime days. Really good restoration!

Oh my what a beautiful place. A must stop and take the free tour donations accepted. So much history of the theater and the volunteer work that is ongoing. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The theatre offers free tours Tuesday through Friday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturdays. I suggest calling first to make sure that times have not changed.
