Quartz Mountain is just a gorgeous place. I love the area. And the park is great. Lots of outdoor activities and wonderful views. I was there in early October and it was great seeing the deer everywhere.

If you enjoy taking photographs, Quartz Mountain Nature Park is the place to visit. The mountains, lake, river, wildflowers, and wildlife make great subjects for photographers. The park has a beautiful lodge with a good restaurant and there are nice cabins too. During the warmer months of the year, the park is crowded with campers and boaters.

Beautiful camping area. However, at the lodge where we stayed had outside construction taking place. They did stop at dark. Lodge "Sundance Dining Area" not open all the time. A few hours for breakfast, a couple of hours for lunch and dinner. The front office staff did not know what was for dinner in the Sundance Cafe, we were told... More

Well, we went up there two weeks ago. Unfortunately there are not near enough 50 amp spots. This is not a slam on the park as we knew what they had when we went up there and took that chance. Of course we get up there and the two available 50 amps are taken. We tried it with a 30... More

The scenery was beautiful. Very relaxing to just be there, amidst nature. There are trails to walk and explore. Met some older children who we're thrilled at the experience they had on a hike. Our two year old seemed to enjoy running around and exploring as well.

This is a scenic and very beautiful park- mountains of granite boulders scattered in and around a beautiful lake. Fortunately, the lake was full and the beaches relatively clean. Our grandkids had a great time running around the beach and pier areas.

The trails are NOT maintained well...lots of times when the brush/grass completely obscured the trail.

My family and I went to the Quartz Mountains last summer and I have to say it is disgusting. The "beach" area smells and is covered in glass and dead turtles! A lot of those turtles still in the shells. Not to mention part of it is like nasty quicksand that ruined my mom's shoes! Then they had to remove... More
