My husband and our 2 younger sons stopped by the museum on our way through Oklahoma, and we are so glad we did! We were pretty familiar with Roger Miller, but we learned so more about him! What an interesting and talented man! The story of his rise to fame is fascinating, and we had no idea he had written... More

The Roger Miller museum is cool little spot along Route 66 as it traverses Oklahoma not too far from the border with Texas. It is small but unique and showcases many interesting relics, anecdotes, and fan paraphernalia related to Roger Miller's career. Entrance is a few dollars and there are concessions for seniors, students, etc. The curators are very friendly... More

If you happen to be travel through, check it out but its not really what you think in terms of museum. Talking to the curator is probably the best part of the showcase. The locals are proud of their native son (actually not true native) but either born there and moved away or moved there and grew up there! Anyway,... More

Found the place easy but it was like walking in to a surgery room not many displays. Personally for all the stuff Roger Miller did in his lifetime I would have expected a little more and maybe something about Erick the town too.

If you liked Roger Miller, this is a nice little museum to visit. It has lots of photos spanning his career and also the suits he wore during his performances. When his first hit, "Dang Me" hit the charts, he bought his first motorcycle which was on display and also the luggage he carried on his tours. Erick is a... More

We were going by on the interstate and saw the sign for the Roger Miller museum and we all remembered his songs and decided to check it out. We'd tried in the past but had found it closed. There are limited hours but it is only $3.00 for regular fold and $2.00 for seniors so it's the right price. Very... More

Located in Erick, Oklahoma this small museum is definitely worth the stop if you are passing through. If you are somewhat of a Milller fan I think a visit will only increase your appreciation of his humor and life. There are suits he wore, his gold records, and lots of pictures and stories of his life. The curator was a... More

I arrived just when the museum was opening (closed Sun-Tues) after having no trouble locating the museum or a parking space in what remains of Erick. I paid my $3 ($2 for seniors), and was the only visitor the entire time I was there. Even though I knew photos were not allowed, I expected to tour the museum at my... More
