The Toledo Zoo ranks right up with the much better know San Diego Zoo. The exhibits are first class and the grounds are much easier to get around. You and your family will enjoy great views front and center and your family won't be wearing...More

We live “close” to both the Toledo Zoo and Detroit Zoo. Both Zoos have advantages over the other. Some of the things we and our 2 year old loves about the Toledo Zoo. (1) Train ride to see the savanna animals. (2) Exhibits are close...More

Very clean and lots of animals to see - and the aquarium even better. $17 adult entry covers both. We were a little surprised by the expensive food and drinks as well as the $8.00 parking fees but we figured that’s just to be expected...More

The best time to visit the zoo is in the evening in Fall, when they have all the lantern animals on display! All those beautiful colors, shining bright! It's also great to see how some of the real animals get more active at dusk.

In my opinion, this zoo is over-rated. It boasts of so many animals. We sure didn't see them. It's a lot of walking, and very little viewing. I should have kept count of the number of animals we actually saw. I truly don't believe the...More

When we went there were not a lot of animals available to see. For the cost of tickets and parking, then to pay for everything else that is charges it was not worth the money.

YES. We saw three elephants. One is young and follows and middle sized one around....they are friends. Then the mother of the young one. There is good visibility.
