Best Zoo ever.

I've been to a few zoos, and i still think ours is the BEST! I go every year at least once.

Toledo Zoo has some newer venues that are excellent and some older portions that still need work but overall this zoo was better than the Detroit Zoo. Given a choice, go to the Toledo Zoo instead of Detroit Zoo. No ticket charge for active duty...More

This is the second time we have visited this zoo with our children. Not only do they have a multitude of unique exhibits, it was very clean and the employees are incredibly friendly! We had another wonderful time! Impressive!

The Toledo Zoo has always been a great zoo to visit, but even better now that they are improving and expanding. Nice new elephant area and Nature's Neighborhood is a fun place for the little ones to run, play and explore!

They have really made efforts to put the animals in their own type settings. The African Savanna area is amazing and you can take great pictures when you ride the little train they offer. You can eat lunch in a restaurant that they coverted from...More

YES. We saw three elephants. One is young and follows and middle sized one around....they are friends. Then the mother of the young one. There is good visibility.
