Great experience! It was a little packed, being a mild saturday night. Aquarium is new and great, i loved it. The lights were above average compared to other light related things i've gone to. Great for kids, couples, families, whoever. Only downside is the animals are mostly put away and aren't able to be seen. (With the of course exception... More

We are members at the Columbus Zoo and while this zoo is smaller - it is wonderful. It is a nice, easy walk with good exhibits of the animals. Our favorite exhibits are the seals, the otters, the elephants and the naked mole rats. We love how at many of the exhibits you can see multiple layers...for example, you can... More

Our family of 5 went to the zoo with 2 of our children's friends. The zoo is right in the middle of a neighborhood, which we found interesting. It was busy because of the half off deal they have going on, so we had to park quite a ways away. The line moved quickly to get through the gates. Unfortunately... More

I grew up in the Toledo area so my childhood is filled with memories at the Toledo Zoo. I have taken my nieces and nephews to the zoo multiple times. I highly recommend the stunningly beautiful 'Lights Before Christmas' or the 'Zoo to Do' filled with food and fun. In September I brought my boyfriend for a visit. He is... More

The Zoo has so many interactive activities for the family, but the lights give it a whole new magic! They are many special activities during the Zoo lights as well. Come and enjoy the beauty and awesome extras. Regular visits do not disappoint either. The aquarium, Africa, and many other exhibits the whole family will enjoy. I also recommend the... More

Such a great zoo! Plenty to see, inside and out. We love the orangutans! You can pet the sringrays in the aquarium. Places to eat your own picnic. Playgrounds. Be sure to come on the evening during Lights Before Christmas. It is awesome! Mondays can be especially busy weekedays, as it is free to county residents.

First of all, there is something there for everyone. If you are 1 or 91, the zoo is accessible for all ages and abilities. [for a small cost, they have strollers/wheelchairs/wagons available to rent] We have been zoo members since 2001 when our first daughter was born and have continued our membership every year since then. In addition to the... More
