We had such a great time and it was all free! I would suggest a change of shoes because the water gets tour shoes all muddy! Overall a great place.

Not for big fossil hunters but a great place to take little ones to get them interested in the fossil hunting. The place is not big but you can still find a trilobite from time to time

I drove about two hours to take my 6 year old, who is crazy about dinosaurs, there. I forewarned him that there wouldn't be any chance of finding bones, just shell type fossils- didn't want to set unrealistic expectations. The park was clean & nice,...More

My boys, 3 and 7, could have spent all day here. We went on a total whim so we weren't prepared, but will be next time. I suggest you bring a spray bottle with water, small brushes or toothbrush, and a bucket of some sort....More

I take my 7-year old granddaughter to Fossil Park at least 3 times a summer and we have a ball. It takes patience to look through all the stone and find a fossil, but worth the effort when you do find one. On some occasions...More

My husband and I stopped here on way to an event. Loved this place as I am a science teacher! Lots of young families with kids having a ball. Bring toothbrushes to wash off fossils and wear old shoes. A digging tool would also be...More
