great winter-blah escape

Clean facility, hotels well kept. Fun for teens & young children. Something for everyone to do. Love the lazy river! Restaurants are just ok.

Kalahari Waterpark is huge; we were there 2 days and ran out of time before we ran out of options. They have things for every age group to do. This is a great place for a multi generation vacation. Things are very clean and well kept.

My family has been to many water parks in both Michigan and Ohio and this is the best BY FAR! It has the most options for ALL AGES, awesome staff, delicious food, tons of different fun things to do in addition to the water park (ropes course, rock wall, zip lining, outdoor pools, zoo, mini glow golf, bowling, movie theater,... This place is so great. We make this an annual trip every spring. It's become one of our favorite yearly traditions. When we get stir-crazy from winter and need a place to go, this is our choice! We are getting ready to return, and I thought I'd lend my review. There is so much here for the whole family. From... More

The Good: - Clean facility, rooms, and waterpark - Well maintained waterpark - Friendly staff and lifeguards - Check-in process is handled very well - Ample quantity of staff and lifeguards - Large waterpark with lots to do - Big arcade and bowling alley if you're into that - Upfront pricing and fees - Show to waterpark before check-in at... This place gets kind of pricey but is for sure worth the money you will be spending for a quick get away. We normally go in winter that way you can do things for a weekend that do not involve the cold. Plan it out just to get all you can out of your experience!

We had a wonderful stay at the resort Tuesday and Wednesday after Christmas. The water was warm, and my kids had a blast. The trouble began when we had a 500 charge on our return home Wednesday night from the resort. The Manager I spoke with was very nice but could not explain the 500 dollars missing and maintained it... More

This water park has everything: a wave pool, a lazy river, a surf pool, and tons of water slides. And the chlorine was not too bad. Just be sure to stay at a different hotel if you are staying the night.

Don't even know where to begin Upon arrival......quick check in to the room farthest from Everything...1645. After walking a mile to suite...it was in horrible. Garbage disposal filled with garbage. Beer cans and ciarettes on patio....something sticky spilled into drawer and down in cupboards and into the floor. $1000 a night....unbelievable. Worse get away ever.

My pre-teen kids love this place but it reminds me too much of Pi Pi's Splashtown. I personally prefer the ocean or the water parks in Orlando
