We were disappointed that it was closed, but watched lowering on the flags. Stars and Stripes, Union Jack and the Canadian flags. Pretty impressive monument.

The monument was closed for repairs so we was unable to be able to visit the monument we were disappointed. But we will go back after it reopen

This is a must see if you haven't been up to the islands lately. The park workers are helpful and give great informatin.

We were disappointed that during our visit that the steps to the monument were closed off. However, the Memorial Park is beautiful.

Came up and seen this in 2015 and just again right after new years and it is just as awesome as the first time. If you enjoy monuments and history you need to visit this at put-in-bay!

If you go to put in bay you need to go up to the top go monument what a view, it gives you a view of the entire island, great time

This was the only attraction open and was very interesting. However, not enough to suggest going to Put-In-Bay.

Yes as long as they're on a leash but you can't take them inside the monument. We always take the Miller Ferry from Catawba Island as you can take your dog on it + it's much cheaper than the Jet Express. I've been to... More

There are both steps and an elevator. When we were there, all I remember is being at the very top. When we decided to go down the electric went out on most of the Island. we had to walk down 487 steps with only a back up... More
