I wanted to give the overall rating a 1 because of my total experience, but have to be fair and honest! The Display's and animals are top notch, we got to see animals never before experienced when visiting other zoo's. I extremely enjoyed the Gorilla's/chimpanzee's and other primates. The Polar Bears, and Grizzly's as we saw them swimming and they... More

This is a nice zoo. Maybe I am spoiled. Because where I live, we have a great zoo and I was expecting something better. But it was the same.

Columbus Zoo should be at the top of every zoo lovers list. The animal enclosures are beautiful and some are even extrodinary! You can get up close to many animals such as Gorillas, Orangutans, lions, polar bears, etc. This was an incredible place and the price was VERY affordable at $15 per adult. We didn't do the waterpark, but it... More

We have been Zoo members (family) for 10 years so we enjoy multiple visits to the Columbus Zoo every year. We specifically went to see the new Pirate Island ride, walked all the way back to it and...it was closed for the day. Wally World moment. We can come back anytime but I felt for the people who traveled and... More

We have been to zoos all over the country, and the Columbus is far and above them all ( even the famous San Diego zoo)! We get season passes for our children and their families for the Cincinnati Zoo, b/c they live in that area, and while I think it's a wonderful zoo, it does not come close to the... More

We LOVE the Columbus Zoo. The gorillas are fun because you can get up close to them and put your hand on the glass & they interact with you. The kangaroos are cool because you walk in the cage with them & see them hop around. Africa is a must-see, especially feeding the giraffes! The aquarium is small but my... More

Jungle Jack's landing is AWESOME for kids of all ages-- as the weather cools, this is a great outside activity and far less intimidating than the Water park. The all day ride wristband is just $9.99 but if you bank at 5th 3rd and show proof, a wristband is just 5 bucks. Kids have a great time and not tons... More

We had a great day visiting the zoo. Beautiful exhibits and animals! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The employees are fun and friendly. We really liked the Aftican Safari area and the polar bears! Go when the weather is not so hot and you'll enjoy it more!

We enjoyed our time at the zoo. If you have a couple of days to spend there, buy the annual pass and it will save you money. (Buy it before you travel, they mail membership cards to you, you can skip the ticket lines and save your parking money.) Get there for opening- the parking lot is shared with the... More

Wow! What a find!! If I lived closer this would definitely be a place to have a membership!! The animals were very diverse and divided by regions. Outback, Africa, North America, Shores and so on. The staging was incredible and dare I say Disneyesque? There were lots of playgrounds to run off a little energy when riding around in the... More
