We are annual pass members and try to visit the zoo at least once per month. I am amazed by how the zoo has grown over the past several years. I would say that the new Heart of Africa region could compete with Disney's Animal Kingdom (another place we love!). This zoo definitely has enough to keep a family busy... More

This place is absolutely a must do in Columbus, especially if you have children. The park is organized in thematic areas, and depending on the season different attractions will be available. If you want to save money family membership is very convenient! Overall highly suggested!

We went on an unseasonably warm day in February. It cost only $10 to get in since it's winter; normally, it's $20, which is kind of steep to me. Also, parking is $10, which is kind of a downer. A couple of the exhibits were closed but that didn't matter much. It took us four hours to get through the... More

Left early from New York to hit Columbus Zoo on way to Kentucky. Never imagined free day would be a free for all(except for $10 parking). More people than a small zoo could handle(as it appeared a couple areas were seasonal, making the zoo feel small). Seen Manatees and Penguins in a hour, and the kids wanted out, so we... More

We visited during mid winter break inFeb. It was a rainy day but there were plenty of indoor places to go to stay dry. Loved the Australian nocturnal exhibit and saw lots of baby animals, a fun visit and since it was off season we only had to pay half price. Parts of the zoo were closed for the season... More

I am glad it was half off admission this weekend or I would not have been happy. With many of the exhibits closed, it was just okay. We were really sad to see the children's play area (slides, climbing, etc) was closed for the season - when the temperatures were in the mid 60's. We went to the food court... More

We visited the zoo during a nice day during winter admission. Prices were cheaper during the winter although some exhibits were closed. We enjoyed the park. It is a big facility with lots of animals to see. I feel that it could be laid out a little more organized as I was unsure as to whether I had missed anything... More

We have a zoo membership so we go often and sometimes even just go for an hour or two. Great place to walk and see the wonderful animal exhibits. With as much as it costs for parking ($10) and admission ($15 for adults) I definitely recommend the membership.

An amazing zoo. I've been a Columbus Zoo member for years. Every visit is fun and exciting. Animals are active. During the Christmas holiday season the light displays are great - literally millions of lights.
