Winter lights

Enjoyed the lights excellent job. Was hoping for more animals in the evening, but understandable. Will come back in spring.

A world class zoo! Many endangered and rare species not seen at other zoos. Open everyday of the year. Holiday lights are especially beautiful. For seeing the lights, go about 4:00pm to avoid the crowds.

We take the whole family, sometimes a favorite neighbor. Everyone loves it. Great exhibits nice staff, love the gift shops. Always a memorable experience. Talk about a Kodak moment the kids love taking pictures of their favorite animals or zoo statues and each other.

As long time Columbus Zoo members we enjoy visiting for the special events. This has been a tradition in our family for 19 years! Our kids, now all 3 teenagers, walk around for 2 hours with us and no cell phones! Great atmosphere and more lights than you can count! Quality event and as always, clean and super family friendly!

We enjoyed the zoo even though in late November many outside exhibits are closed. Tropical & equatorial animals can't take the cold weather. There were many interesting animals to visit and, in fact, the inaccessible animals led us to visit and enjoy animals we otherwise would not have seen. I had bundled up in warm clothes but we spent so... More

We got into the early holiday spirit with a visit to the zoo. Central pond Light Show starts around 5:30 with lights set to music. It cycles every half hour so the crowds move on to see all the light displays around the park. It's a big zoo in a suburban setting. Some exhibitions are not open due to the... More

First, I admit that I am a long time visitor of the (FREE) St. Louis Zoo. However- our visit here was fantastic. Saw many great displays & exhibits. The BEST was kids feeding the giraffes for $3.00. Incredible!!

What an amazing zoo!!! So much to see. The kids all had a great time. Lots of walking so next time I will definitely wear sneakers. There were so many great animals and the habitats were beautiful ! The food was a little expensive but totally what you would expect. Beautiful zoo. We can't wait to go back.

I have been to a lot of zoos across the United States (and the world) and this one is still my favorite. It is well laid out, the animals seem better cared for than in most zoos, and the variety of animals goes beyond your typical garden variety found in many zoos in cities of a similar size. I would...
