Overview
More
The centerpiece of The Spicy Lamb Farm is a purebred production polled Dorset flock. Sheep are also grazed off site through the Urban Shepherds grazing program. In addition to the sheep, duck is being raised along with organic varieties of apples, pears, and plums. The farm also features the spicy herbs and vegetables for which it was named. Celebrating local food, fiber, and fun, the farm is a regional favorite for family agtourism events such as the Cuyahoga Valley Sheep Dog Trials. Surrounded by mature woodlands and hidden away at the dead-end part of Akron Peninsula Road, off of Boston Mills Road, in the scenic Village of Peninsula, the farm is a place of education, fascination, and inspiration.

It's a very unusual Easter Egg Hunt... where kids have to look for the eggs with all the sheep walking around! Makes it so much more fun! And they also have a chance to pet chicks, ducklings, bunnies, and all the fluffy things that spring...More

We went to the Spicy Lamb during their lambing days, last march. During this event, we were able to hold new born lambs, goats, ducks, and rabbits. We wandered around the farm and learned about their history. This place is a hidden gem, just north...More

All the baby critters u would ever want to hold. Family run, family owned. They do all the work while raising family! Geared towards kids & family. The kids ask to go every year. Wear boot & prepare for weather! CLE springs are unpredictable!!

Went there for the sheep shearing and enjoyed watching the shearing, seeing and holding abandoned infant lambs, and the opportunity to see and learn how wool is processed. The owner was very busy that day, but the people working with her were very friendly.
