Just ok....

Although the resort was decent, I felt that the rooms were dated. I also had a dirty hand towel on the towel rack. That being said, the lobby area was gorgeous. The staff... read more

Very dirty, I stayed here for three weeks. The sheets were not cleaned on my check in day. Dust on headboard, TV etc. The stairwells were filthy! Leaves littered the hallway. Exterior garbage cans over flowing. The pool and gym area very nice. Restaurant and bar area a plus but they charge .50 for ice in drink. I also started... More

Attended a 90th birthday party in one of the party rooms at Quail Hollow Resort. It was a lovely room, and the wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Dinner was quite delicious, and everyone I spoke to enjoyed their meal whether it was beef, chicken, or fish. When the party was done, the wait staff again was very attentive...bringing... More

Although the resort was decent, I felt that the rooms were dated. I also had a dirty hand towel on the towel rack. That being said, the lobby area was gorgeous. The staff was friendly at check in. The rest of my room was clean. It also had a nice balcony area.

In September, I traveled to Painesville, Ohio for the purpose of meeting with the owner and leadership team of Tartan Marine Company and booked a two night stay via an online bidding site. Following several bids, the site booked my stay at Quail Hollow Resort for $55.00 per night. In addition to being in close proximity to the Tartan factory,... More

This is definelty not your "to die for" place to stay. It's very dated and time warp like. The staff didn't seem to notice my entrance. Maybe from all the dark old wood. Carpet could use a good shampoo. Has all the typical amenities like your average budget hotel but with all the high cost of a fancy place. Wouldn't... More

Lobby is nice, but rooms are very dated. The food service is at best poor. You get the impression this is a failing business. There are better options in the area.

We have traveled three separate times to Quail Hollow as a quick getaway for a night from the kids. We always book one of their packages - usually one of the wine packages with breakfast the next morning offered in the winter/spring. This last visit we booked the Valentine's dinner package and enjoyed every part - from the champagne and... More
