We parked and started our ride in Howard at Rotary Park. We rode to Gambier then onto Mt. Vernon where we ate lunch at Parkside Restaurant and Tavern. It was delicious! And then enjoyed the return ride back to Howard.

We actually started riding 1/4 mile before trailhead, but there is a great parking lot at trailhead. Benches line the trail every 1/2 mile or so which is great for resting and taking in the beauty of this trail. We rode to Howard and back...More

I have ridden on this trail multiple times. It is very nice and connects into other trails. It is fairly flat, with only slight hills. Great for friends and family outings!

We are so fortunate to have the Kokosing Gap Trail literally in our backyard. It is a wonderful place, to walk, run, ride your bike or trike and enjoy the beautiful woods and Kokosing river.

This trail runs for miles! Walk it, run it, or bike it! Start at Ariel Foundation Park and go all the way to the Bridge of Dreams. There are so many places to stop along the way for drinks, food, and sweet treats!

Over the years, I have done every leg of the trail; each holding its own mystique. Whether biking or walking, you WILL get your nature on. Howard, Gambier or Brinkhaven make for the best starting routes. Old, concrete RR mileage markers help you to keep...More

What a fantastic rail to trail project in central Ohio. Well maintained park with historical markers along the way, mileage markers made like old railroad markers, a steam locomotive and C&O caboose in Gambier (along with restrooms, water fountain and picnic tables). I understand this...More

The Kenyon College Bookstore in Gambier rents bikes. Y-Not Cycling in Mount Vernon sells bikes, but I'm not sure they rent them.
