We very much enjoyed our Sunday afternoon guided tour of Promont by a knowledgable Milford Historical Society volunteer. We have been to a number of U.S. homes restored to the Victorian era decor, and found this one to be exceptionally well done with details you...More

Went here to see quilts done with Charlie Harper themes. I was surprise that I had never heard of Promont before. Beautiful inside and out.

The group that takes care of the house has done quite an amzing job over the last few decades. It has several special events every year. It even hosts weddings and is available for parties. The architecture is amazing and not many people seem to...More

Beautiful house! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers. We went for one of their teas. Fantastic! Wonderful food served on real antique dishes. Must have at least 12 or 15 people. It's worth finding a few strangers to come along to get the minimum.

This is a "must see". The people who work there are very knowledgeable. It was a place where the city people came in the summer to get away from the smell of the pigs in the city.
