I love coming here for the trails and nature. It is largely a piece of tranquility on the edge of an urban and suburban area. The trails are well maintained, only in heavy spring rains do they sometimes become more muddy than their engineering can handle. Crowds are generally light throughout weekdays aside from the occasional day where busloads of... More

I am so lucky that I live just minutes away from this beautiful place. Great hikes and great programs throughout the year.

When my wife and I moved to the area the first thing we wanted to do was find a place to hike. Well the nature center is an amazing place to hike!

We spent most of the Summer at the CNC . We did the Hike for your Health challenge and it was so much fun . The Rowe Woods has 10 trails that rate from Easy to Challenging. The Longbranch Farm location in Goshen has 5 Hiking Trails that go through beautiful woods and Prairie. You get a " Passport "... More

This is the place for solo walks for contemplation, romantic walks, dog walking, family outings and just somewhere to commune with nature. What a great neighborhood place that has been preserved by some dedicated individuals who care about making the world a better place.

Being the backpacker I am, I can easily say this place is a great place to venture to and explore nature. Trails range from easy to hard, but since we're in the Midwest there's no major altitude change nor any huge differences in terrain. It's a great place for those who prefer simpler hiking and not anything too difficult, and... More

PatIsRowe comes from Rowe Woods. I've been a member now for 15 years and the Nature Center just keeps getting better. I think they are up to 1600 acres and have increased their educational offerings for children and families. If you haven't been in a few years, check them out. They've done a lot without comprising the miles of trails.... More

We have annual passes and are never disappointed in the flora and fauna. Our dog loves to come on hikes. My boys love the bone yard which is a collection of skeletons from local animals. The staff is great and very helpful. If you are a lover of nature, it is a must!
