When my young cousin visited from Germany we were trying to figure out where to take him. Found out he was into trains so this seemed liked a good place to go. Having never been there I didn't know what to expect. While this is not a very big museum, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised and... More

I guess if you're into this stuff, you may find this place interesting. Really, the Medina Toy and Train "Museum" is just a smelly building full of train parts and other various trinkets. Not worth your time. However, I will say that man at the register was helpful and friendly.

My husband is the train buff in the family and he was quite impressed with this little shop jam packed with the old, new and unusual. Even though I'm not a train person, I really enjoyed looking at everything. There are even a few airplanes and toy cars... along with a few other whimsical odds and ends to delight the... More

Grandchildren were interested and enjoyed the many different items to see and have hands on. Displays are well done and laid out in a interesting manner.

Took our grandsons to this place....and can’t wait to take them and the other grandsons back! You pick up the key and pay the small admission fee ($3) at the hobby story beneath the museum. We had the entire place to ourselves. And thankfully it was a hands-on place that the boys loved! There were many old and antique trains... More

They had a lot of the older toys that you don't see anymore. A ton of trains that were very interesting to see. We enjoyed it and spent about an hour going thru at your own pace. It is above the hobby shop so you have to pay there then he will unlock the door and you go up a... More

Plenty to look at especially if you like Lionel trains. As a kid I used to dream about owning all the various add ons available for my Lionel set. Still have all mine from pre war and then again from the fifties. I had a couple of problem locomotives I took to them for rebuilding and refurbishing. Also had a... More
