Nice place with a good history lesson. We toured the lighthouse which was cool - but not for those that can't handle heights.

We stopped here to see the lighthouse and were lucky enough to catch the first tour. For $3/person, you can get a little history of the lighthouse and take the 77 steps to the top where you will enjoy a great view of Lake Erie....More

Great view from across Cedar Point. $3 to climb the lighthouse. It is a nice hangout for about 30 min to an hour. Be careful on the slippery rocks. There are bathrooms but nothiig else there.

We were there before it opened, but it was beautiful to see from the outside with a view of Cedar Point. The family enjoyed exploring the area in the trees behind the lighthouse near the water.

The trip to the lighthouse was to appease my fiance`. But I never could have imagined that I would become so fascinated by the trip. I learned so much about not only lighthouses in general but the remarkable history of this particular lighthouse.

A perfect shot to the east as you look past the lighthouse early in the morning. Fun place to visit and just sit and relax. It appears fishing is pretty good as we watched several people catch catfish from the shore at the base of...More

I am new to the Great Lakes so I cannot help with your route. However, I can tell you that the Marblehead Lighthouse is worth seeing. There are also other attractions close by that wouldn't take up a lot of time but also... More
