We enjoyed our time here so much. These folks are doing great work and should be recognized for their efforts. Take a peaceful walk and learn about the different birds and don't forget to but worms for the aviary. The birds will land on your hand to eat out of the little cup of worms. Kids love it, but so... I've been to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary many times over the years and it just keeps getting better each time. No admission and you can get up close and personal with birds of the wild that have been rescued. Their mission is excellent and the birds seem to be well cared for. Donations accepted.

We visit often. Love seeing the birds, the resident cat, Benjamin Bunny, and chickens. You must bring some spare change to buy a cup of seed and meal worms for the birds in the aviary, go early when they are still hungry.

Beautiful. In an area with a lot of beautiful parks this one really sticks out. They have a few viewable birds that are residence that look comfortable in their enclosures. The birds just look at peace. They offer trails to walk around and it's absolutely stunning. We went during the fall months and the leaves were changing.

Nice little place to visit on a beautiful day. No admission fee to get in but donations greatly appreciated. They have two Bald Eagles...gorgeous! Love the talking crow! The grounds are neatly kept and workers are very protective of the animals and offer information about them during your visit.

Family visit on the 11th February with a valentine theme, winter is the breeding season for owls. The family had a great time seeing the owls up close and participating in arts and crafts and owl calling competition. The staff were very friendly and informative. The sanctuary is well worth visiting if you are in the area.

The birds definitely have a routine and seem to be treated absolutely great, they have a section of the sanctuary where you can walk in and have the birds fly to you and you can feed them if you pay .25 cents at the office area. Be careful with the blue birds though, hold those feeding cups tight because they... More
