There are several parking lots at the Cedar Falls. The closest are the ones in front of the restrooms. You will have to take some steep steps to reach the falls. It is worthwhile if you are in to waterfalls. Depending the weather you will...More
Nice quiet walk down a well maintained trail of steps to the gorge. You cross over a bridge and look up at a giant cliff wall. The trail to the falls is easy as you cross another bridge to obtain the ideal point to see...More
There were only 70 steps down to the falls. It's a very peaceful and beautiful hike. The only problem I had was that there are signs all over telling people to not go into the water and you have some people that don't respect that....More

Experience very positive. The review as provided noted the + and - parts, and overall, we very much enjoyed our time there, in part because of proximity to multiple short hikes available. Dinner in the dining room (twice) was very nice, and breakfast service was a also good - ordering set plate options. We would go back if ever in the area again. It is not a grand room - the room was on the small side but adequate. If someone wants TV and wi fi in room and all the e-gadgetry, might not be on top of your "go to" list. For the rustic feel of the place, all was good. We sat outside one late afternoon and watched deer a few yards away while noshing on crackers cheese and a nice bottle of white wine purchased in the gift shop.
