It was recommended by a friend who has gone on this hike previously. The hike did not disappoint us. It was great exercise and even though some signs were missing, the trails are clearly marked with the correct color. Hike both trails and you will...More

Probably my favorite hike we did in the Hocking Hills area. Spent a day & a half hiking 7 or 8 places. This was probably the most challenging. Lots of steps and lots of cool areas.

My son and I ventured a 3 hr drive down to HH. We did the Hemlock trail and Whispering Cave, followed by Rock House, then we did part of Cantwell Cliffs. We ended by making a stop at the Moonshine distillery then drove back 3...More

A big fan of all the HH parks, and I can't believe it took us so long to make it here. Not busy at all, even on a day when the other parks were packed. Guessing they have taken the advice of other reviewers and...More

Cantwell Cliffs is our favorite venue in Hocking Hills. Be warned -- there are a lot of steps -- but you can experience several waterfalls, awesome rock cliffs, and peaceful scenery. Be sure to try the "Fat Lady Squeeze"!

I've read some negative reviews about trails not being maintained... but I like it that way! Makes you feel more like an explorer, not just a hiker. I love when Nature shows her beautiful, wild side!

Such a beautiful place to hike, we picked it because it was rated a more moderately challenging hike. It was BEAUTIFUL! There weren't many people, maybe it was because it was such a hot day! We really enjoyed this hike.

The trail alone is worth the hike --- it descends down wood/dirt stairs and then squeezes and descends down some stone steps through a channel in the stone! Really cool. There are plenty of twists and turns after that, too. You soon come to a...More

Yes, though I would only take them if they are super compliant. Lots of eroded and super steep places.
