I would highly recommend taking a shuttle ride the first time you visit; this place is very big. After that you can walk to the places that interest you most. The Tower is highly recommended. the canopy walk is interesting too.

202 steps to the top. There platforms allowing you to stop, rest and view the forest on your way up. New benches were just installed on some of the platforms, giving you a place to sit on the way up.
